10/17 Weightloss Wednesday: More Handstands

It’s time for Weightloss Wednesday!  As of this morning I am at 233.2 lbs which means I have lost about 3 pounds this week which is definitely because of the overnight shifts I’ve been working and not because of anything special I’ve been doing.  Just been too busy to eat proper meals mostly but all that ends tomorrow as I go back to days.

As for exercise, the Handstand Challenge continues in earnest and it is HARD!  Thank you to everyone who has sent me tips and tricks but good grief, it is so much harder than I thought.  I remember as a kid my dad teaching me how to ride a bike with no training wheels.  It was hard but I learned how to balance in a day.  Handstands?  I’m 2 weeks in and I don’t feel much closer than when I started.

Although I do have to say that the last time I did it was the first time I started to fall and was able to jerk my legs back to at least try to catch myself.  Just having that happen was enough to give some hope that the is a light at the end of the tunnel.  The one thing I am sure of is it is going to take me longer than a month to do this so I might be continuing this challenge for the rest of the year.

How are you doing this week?  Let me know in the comments below!
