7/30 Weightloss Wednesday: 4 Lbs Gone!

Last week I complained about a small setback where I gained a pound for the week and said usually that means the next week I’ll have a big loss and that turned out to be true! Last week I was at 256.6 lbs, this week I am at 252.6 lbs, a loss of 4 lbs in a week! That’s really incredible.

I was hoping to be under 250 by the end of the month and I doubt that’s going to happen but it’s nice to see things moving in the right direction again. I thought I would take a chance here to reiterate exactly what I’m doing so you can know.

I don’t eat sugar, grains, seed oils or processed food. I cook almost all my own food so I know exactly what goes in it and I’d say roughly 80% of what I eat is just meat. I usually eat 2 meals, breakfast and dinner and sometimes a snack of either a can of tuna or maybe some nuts. I’m rarely hungry and feel comfortable as I’m losing weight.

As for exercise, my job allows me to move around now where before I was just sitting on my butt for 12 hours a day which is a big plus but I’m not doing strenuous exercise which is something I’ll probably change one day but I am fundamentally a lazy guy. I used to do the Starting Strength program of lifting weights but no longer have access to a gym so I now I don’t do much at all.

My point is, it’s pretty easy to lose weight as long as you can control your diet and would encourage you to give it a try. Need help or have a question? Leave a comment below and I’ll reach out!
