8/13 Weightloss Wednesday: The Same 1.4 Lbs Down

Last week I was at 254.0 lbs, this week I am at 252.6 lbs which great because I lost 1.4 lbs but a little disappointing because it’s exactly where I was 2 weeks ago. I don’t want to be in a situation where I yo-yo back and forth. My goal is to be under 250 by the end of the month so I really need to focus on sticking with the program to meet my goals.

One of the things that got me back to regularly posting on this site was the accountability that comes with having to be honest to the world about my weight loss journey. It was making these videos and posts 10 years ago that really fueled my original 200 lb weight loss so I’m returning to that same well to hopefully see the same results.

I will say that as amazing as a low carb, mostly meat diet is for weight loss, it is a lot easier to lose weight in your 40s than in your 50s. It’s not impossible obviously because it’s happening but I don’t remember the process being quite this slow the first time. Or maybe because I’m treading on ground I already trod once before and am disappointed I let some of that weight come back that I feel this way. I’m not sure.

But regardless, it doesn’t matter. I have to get this weight back off my body and this time for good so there’s nothing to do but stick with the program.

How did you do this week? I’d love to know in the comments!
