6/28 Weightloss Wednesday: So Close…Still

It’s Weightloss Wednesday!   As of this morning I’m at 202.8 lbs which means I have lost 197.2 lbs.  All good news, right?  Well, I have been stuck within 3 lbs of my goal of 200 for about a month now and it is INCREDIBLY FRUSTRATING!!

I know that plateaus happen and all I need to do is stay the course and it will eventually happen but good grief it’s taking forever.  All I want to do is get below that line and I will breathe a huge sigh of relief having met a goal I have been striving towards for over 3 years.  I just keep telling myself it will happen and I need to calm down about it.  If you had told me 3 years ago I would be 3 lbs away from 200 and upset about it, I would have pointed out how stupid that was.  Now I’m here and freaking out a bit.

As for exercise, this has been a bit of an issue.  Ever since I pulled a muscle doing the kettlebell exercises, I’ve been a little scared to get back in the saddle on those.  I have had trouble finding the time to devote to them with the 28 day challenge stuff as well as my night job and the other stuff in my life.  Finding 30-45 minutes where I can exercise has been difficult.  Obviously if it was a priority, I would find the time.  It just isn’t for me right now.  I really need to get back on the ball!

As for everything else, inventory is finally done so hopefully I’ll have a little more time to devote to this site and the work we are doing here.  I am so invested in helping as many people as I can lose weight with the ketogenic diet so I want to continue posting helpful articles and these Weightloss Wednesday progress videos.  Hopefully as work eases up, I’ll have the necessary time to do what I want here.
