10/24 Weightloss Wednesday: Rain Rain Go Away

It’s time for Weightloss Wednesday!  As of this morning I am at 238.2 lbs and am pretty unhappy with that.  I feel like I’m going to be stuck at around 235 for the rest of my life.  Nothing I’m doing seems to be moving the needle.  At this point the only weapon left in my arsenal is to increase the amount of Intermittent Fasting I do because at least when I was doing that I was seeing weight come off slowly but consistently. Of course I did have a keto muffin with a bunch of butter and cream cheese smeared on top so maybe that has something to do with it.  Ok, that probably has everything to do with it.

As for exercise, I had to take a few days off of the handstand challenge because any time I have to make that transition from working nights to working days, it absolutely ruins me.  I spend my time off just kind of staring off into space and trying to go back to sleep.  I just don’t do well when when you mess with my sleep.  I did do one handstand yesterday and was able to hold myself for a few seconds so I think I’m getting better but who knows.  I still feel light years away from being able to kick my legs up and hold myself upright.  I think this is going to turn into a multi-month process.

I was also finally able to lift weights yesterday for the first time in a long while.  My weights are outside and it has been raining pretty much nonstop for about 2 weeks and the forecast says more rain for at least another week.  I swear it’s like I’m living in Seattle.  It was nice to get back to squats and deadlifts.  I had been doing some stuff with my kettlebell but it just isn’t the same.

How did you do this week?  Let me know in the comments!
