Weightloss Wednesday Right Direction

It’s time for Weightloss Wednesday!  I don’t know if I have ever gone through a longer and more difficult plateau than what I’ve gone through for the last 2 or 3 weeks.  I was so sure I would be at 250 by now and to see that I am still a few pounds shy is a little frustrating.  So frustrating that it inspired a post I wrote about how to deal with plateaus more for my own sanity than for anyone’s edification.

Just to give an idea of the roller coaster my weight has gone through these last few weeks, here’s a recap of the last few Weightloss Wednesdays.

June 29th – 252.7
July 6th – 256.3
Today – 252.3

So basically it has taken me 2 weeks just to undo the damage that a big 4th of July picnic and 2 birthday parties did to me.  The good news is that for the last 3 or 4 days, my weight has been constantly moving in the right direction which is awesome and I really believe I can hit the 250 mark some time this weekend.  So that means as of today I am down 147.7 lbs from my heaviest and 47.7 lbs so far this year which is progress I can be proud of.

In other news, my bike is back in mostly working order.  I’ve told you about how my bike kept getting flat tires and I discovered it was because the tire itself was bald and every time I replaced the tube, it did nothing to fix the actual issue.  I put up an Amazon wish list link with what I needed to fix the issue and one reader was kind enough to get me what I needed to fix the back tire.  I can kind of nurse the front along enough to get my miles in before it goes flat so it has been nice to be able to exercise again.  If anyone would like to bless me with what I need for the front tire that would be awesome but otherwise, I’ll have to wait until next month to get what I need.

So the big rage right now is Pokemon Go.  I’ve resisted downloading it because the last thing I need right now is something else to waste time on but a few people in the 28 Day Challenge room are saying that it promotes exercise.  I don’t know.  Worth it?  Let me know what you think and maybe I’ll try to catch them all.

Also, the big news for me this week is I was on the Vinnie Tortorich podcast sharing my story and Vinnie will be my first guest when I launch my podcast in the next few weeks.  I had an incredible time and Vinnie was an amazing interviewee and interviewer.  Be sure to check it out.
