Well this is going to be a short article! If you came here looking for a long list of all the things you can eat with no added sugar the next time you find yourself at a McDonald’s, you are out of luck,
Just about the only thing you can order right off the menu is the Chicken McNuggets with packets of yellow mustard for a dipping sauce. Yum! Other than that, you are just looking at ingredients.
So a Quarter Pounder with no bun or ketchup works, or a Big Mac with no bread or sauce. You can also have fries if you don’t mind the carbs.

Steak, Egg and Cheese Biscuit (No Biscuit)

Hamburger, Cheeseburger, Double Cheeseburger, McDouble (No Bread or Ketchup)
Side Salad (No Dressing)
Drinks
Milk Water
Diet Soda
Unsweetened Tea

Dextrose is a simple sugar. Dextrose is in hash browns. If a T2D shouldn’t eat it, then neither should you if you’re looking to avoid sugar.
What about dextrose? That’s a sugar in just about everything there including nuggets and fries.
Dextrose in the fries? Where are you seeing that?
Can you really have chicken McNuggets?? I thought fried chicken would be a no go
It doesn’t have sugar in it but of course the breading is a carb and it is cooked in PUFA. If you have to eat at McDonald’s it’s an option, not a great one but better than burger and fries.
