It’s been a while since I’ve done a Weightloss Wednesday but it’s time to restart this old tradition. Why? Because I’ve learned I’m at my healthiest when I am tracking things and making them public.
4/9 Weightloss Wedenesday: Down 30 Lbs Since Christmas
This week things are continuing in the right direction. Christmas day I was at 306.4 lbs, one week ago I was at 275.6 lbs and today I’m at 272.2 lbs. So that’s about 30 lbs this year and 3.4 lbs this week.
In fact I was just thinking that it’s time to dig out some of the jeans I used to be able to fit into or punch another hole in my belt because my pants are extremely loose.
So why the weight fluctuation? Almost entirely because of a new job. I used to drive for Uber and I couldn’t believe how difficult it was to keep my weight stable. Over the last few years I saw more and more weight creep back on even with a very strict low carb and, for a giant chunk of time, strict carnivore diet.
Now I’m back in my previous pre-covid job that requires a lot more movement out of me. My goal is to lose about another 70 lbs as fast as I can so my knees will stop hurting.
