It’s time for another What’s Sugar Free at the Grocery Store! This week we are looking at pasta sauces. Each of these sauces were on the shelf at my local Walmart so they are easily accessible and pretty inexpensive. I can also tell you that the Wild Oats Parmesan Romano is one of those things I always keep a few jars of in my pantry for quick dinners. It tastes great and only costs about $1.99 a jar.
Of course, you can always make your own with this very easy recipe but sometimes it’s mice to just open a jar and go. If you like this post, please subscribe to my daily email to never miss what goes up on the blog each day.

I love this concept, but there are so many pop up ads, I can’t read your page! Bummer.
Should just be one.
I was still able to read but there are about 8 ads throughout the page.
going to make this sauce soon! just started my sugar free journey yesterday. ahhh!!! thanks for your info..
Awesome!
I’m not understanding this post… the Wild Oats Parmesan Romano has 16g of sugar. Are any of these Sugar Free?
Thanks.
It has no added sugar. The sugar on the label comes from the natural sugar in the tomatoes. If you want less sugar in your sauce, do’t eat a tomato based one, try a cream based one like an Alfredo.
Thanks for this! I’m tired of walking isles after isles looking like an FBI agent! It is shameless how this food manufacturers sneak in sugar into almost virtually everything! I hope you can expand into other food category or ingredients!
Couldn’t agree more! I definitely need to
