8/29 Weightloss Wednesday: Done with OMAD

It’s time for Weightloss Wednesday!  As of this morning I am at 232.8 lbs which means I am about 3 lbs down from last week.

So I am DONE with OMAD.  It was a terrible experience but at least I learned a few things about myself in the process.

#1 I can eat one meal a day when I don’t have to but as soon as I say it is something I have to do, it becomes a miserable experience.  I would start thinking about dinner and fantasizing about what it was going to be about lunch time.  Waaaaaaay to much of my time was spent thinking about food.

#2 My food addition issues are less than they were but they are still there.  You did not want to get between me and my food when I got home.  I tried to work out before I ate but I found myself cutting the workouts short because I just wanted to eat.

#3 My will power is trash.  I would find myself just mindlessly picking up little snacks or eating MASSIVE amounts of food.  Just no self-control.

#4 I love the little experiments I do but I need to allow myself the freedom to cut them short when it is obvious they aren’t working.  I should have stopped this weeks ago.

So that’s what I learned.  I really like food and don’t like not eating it, go figure.
